CPS / Click Speed
How many times can you click in 5 seconds?
Measured values depend on your device, input method, display refresh rate, operating system and environment. This is not laboratory-grade measurement.
What this measures
CPS measures raw click frequency — a direct benchmark of finger tapping speed, not a cognitive ability.
How it works
Click the target as fast as you can. Your first click starts a 5-second timer. The default run is 5 seconds; you can also try 1, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
How results are calculated
CPS = valid clicks ÷ active seconds. We also record total clicks, inter-click consistency and your chosen duration. Macro and multi-button patterns are flagged as nonstandard.
Accuracy & limitations
Mouse button latency, polling rate and technique (jitter clicking) all affect results. This is an entertainment/utility benchmark (Evidence C).
