What this measures
Color Sensitivity measures your just-noticeable difference (JND) threshold for hue using an adaptive staircase. It's a research-grounded perceptual threshold task.
How it works
Three chips are shown — two identical, one slightly different. Pick the odd one. Three correct in a row makes the difference smaller; a miss makes it larger. Twenty trials.
How results are calculated
Your primary score is the final hue threshold (lower is better — a smaller detectable difference means sharper discrimination), estimated against population norms.
Accuracy & limitations
Display color gamut and calibration affect thresholds. This is a research-grounded task (Evidence B).
