Audio Reaction
How fast do you react to a sound?
Measured values depend on your device, input method, display refresh rate, operating system and environment. This is not laboratory-grade measurement.
~2 min
What this measures
Audio Reaction measures the median time to respond to an auditory beep across 10 trials. It's a direct benchmark of auditory sensorimotor speed.
How it works
Wait for a beep, then click as fast as you can. Ten trials. Make sure your sound is on. Responses under 100ms are discarded as anticipation.
How results are calculated
Your primary score is the median reaction time in milliseconds (lower is better), estimated against population norms.
Accuracy & limitations
Audio output latency varies by device. This is a direct benchmark (Evidence C).
