For information and self-reflection
This assessment is not a medical or psychological diagnosis and not a clinical screening tool. It cannot determine whether you have a medical or mental-health condition. If you are concerned about your health, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
What this measures
Verbal Memory tests recognition memory for words using a signal-detection approach: distinguishing words you have seen from new ones.
How it works
Study a list of words, then for each subsequent word decide whether it is Old (seen) or New. The list grows across blocks.
How results are calculated
Your primary score is a recognition accuracy measure (hits minus false alarms), estimated against population norms.
Accuracy & limitations
Language familiarity affects the word pool. Research-grounded (Evidence B), not a clinical evaluation.
