How much can you hold and manipulate at once?
For information and self-reflection
This assessment is not a medical or psychological diagnosis and not a clinical screening tool. It cannot determine whether you have a medical or mental-health condition. If you are concerned about your health, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
What this measures
Working Memory tests the ability to temporarily hold and mentally manipulate information, distinct from short-term span, which only requires holding.
How it works
Items require you to store items and transform them (for example, reverse order or reordering) before responding. Difficulty adapts to your performance.
How results are calculated
Your primary score is the maximum level you completed correctly, feeding the working-memory index of the IQ Estimate.
Accuracy & limitations
Attention and fatigue strongly affect working memory. Research-grounded (Evidence B), not a clinical assessment.
