Number Memory
How many digits can you hold in mind?
For information and self-reflection
This assessment is not a medical or psychological diagnosis and not a clinical screening tool. It cannot determine whether you have a medical or mental-health condition. If you are concerned about your health, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
What this measures
Number Memory is an adaptive digit-span task measuring verbal short-term memory span — how many digits you can reliably hold and reproduce in order.
How it works
Digits appear one at a time at a fixed pace. After a blank interval, type the sequence in the same order. Two trials per length; advance on at least one correct; stop after two failures.
How results are calculated
Primary result is your maximum forward span. We also store total correct and trial-level accuracy.
Accuracy & limitations
Attention, fatigue and input method affect results. This is a research-grounded task (Evidence B), not a clinical evaluation.
